Sliding Rack Specifications and Options

Base of racking

Welded aluminium tubes, with high quality telescopic slides.

Frame of racking

Heavy duty front and rear frames formed from hollow aluminium extrusions welded at the corners to give a high weight carrying capacity and excellent lateral strength

Extension

Normally 1.5mm times the telescopic slide length.

The two bases give extension of 765mm on the 500mm deep and 840mm on the 600mm deep racks.

Tinted options also available.

Quick release hinges fitted to allow doors to be easily removed for equipment installation.

Short doors also available.

Castors

Front mounted castors, which allow greater weights to be carried. If racking mounted above ground level extensions for the castors are supplied which negates the need for special tracks or supporting platforms.

DRAK - Din Rack

 DRAK is a combined Din rail and 19” Rack solution that comes in black or white, wall mounted and only 155mm deep, it houses up to 4 Din rails in the rear, each accepting up to 25 D units.

The enclosure is 12U high for 19” panels at the front, and has the capability of mounting a number of 19” panels in the rear such as cable managers.

Enclosures are stackable or can be mounted side by side, allowing for one to be used for din mounted products and related paraphernalia, and another to be used for the more traditional 19” panels now commonplace for medium to large installations.

Optional extras include courtesy panels that fit in front of the din modules and a segregation panel that allows power and low voltage communications products to be separated yet mounted in the same enclosure.

SRAK - Slimline Rack

 SRAK, short for slimline rack, is a shallow wall mounted 19” Rack, which is stackable and comes in 3U, 6U, 12U, and 18U sizes yet is only 150mm deep.

Ideal for medium to large installations where a full 19" rack would be excessive or space is at a premium.

It has also proven useful for very large installations where the cables out of the wall are terminated to SRAK, and then a full 19" rack is built and tested off site, transferred to site when appropriate and patched directly to SRAK.

This system is earmarked to be further developed into a complete pro-range, optional extras currently available include shelves that fit into the unit and protrude to allow for AV equipment to be held within the unit and brackets that allow communications equipment to be mounted vertically.
